Tell Your SSStory
The 'Tell Your Story' site was part of a comprehensive campaign that encouraged users to tell their own story by uploading a series of 12 photos.
Like a slithering snake, the thumbnails slide together as one continuous loop, sending foreground photos to the back and bringing background photos up to the front in one fluid motion.
Up close and personal
More than just a pretty grid, each thumbnail can be clicked on to see the full "story". Each story is comprised of a grid of 12 photos. The detailed view shows the full grid, title, and author and allows the user to rank the story on a scale of 5 stars and/or flag the story as a favourite, to easily be viewed again later.
Story search
For a unique take on searching, we created an "on-the-fly" filtering system. Instead of typing in keywords, submitting, and then waiting for a response, the sea of photos automatically updates as you type! Want to see all the photos again? Just erase what you've typed.
